NEET 2026 Re-Exam Free Bus Service Updates: As lakhs of medical aspirants prepare for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination on June 21, multiple state governments have stepped forward with transportation assistance to reduce the financial burden on students and their families.
Following the cancellation of the earlier NEET UG 2026 examination and the announcement of a re-test, several states have introduced free bus travel schemes and other support measures to ensure candidates can reach their examination centres conveniently.
Students are advised to carry their NEET UG 2026 admit card or other prescribed documents while availing of these facilities.
The Punjab Cabinet has approved free travel for NEET UG re-exam candidates on government-operated buses, including Punjab Roadways, PUNBUS, and PRTC services. The benefit will be available from June 20 to June 22 upon showing a valid admit card. One accompanying person will also be allowed to travel free with the candidate. Around 28,000 students are expected to benefit from the initiative.
The Bihar government has announced free travel on all state-run buses for candidates appearing in the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. Authorities have also been directed to make necessary arrangements at important transit points to facilitate smooth travel for students and guardians.
The Odisha government has introduced free bus services for NEET UG re-exam candidates travelling to examination centres across the state. The initiative aims to support economically weaker students and reduce travel-related difficulties during the examination period. Candidates can avail the facility by presenting their admit cards.
Haryana has also announced free transportation support for NEET UG re-exam aspirants. The initiative is intended to help students reach examination centres without incurring additional travel expenses.
Students appearing for the NEET UG re-test in Uttarakhand will be able to travel free on designated government transport services. The state government has extended the facility to ease examination-related travel concerns.
The Delhi government has announced free travel facilities for NEET UG re-exam candidates on public buses. The measure is expected to benefit thousands of students travelling to examination centres within the National Capital Territory.
The NEET UG 2026 re-examination is being conducted after the earlier exam held on May 3 was cancelled. As candidates are required to travel again for the fresh examination, several state governments have introduced support measures to reduce the additional financial burden on students and parents.
