The controversy surrounding the NEET UG 2026 re-examination has intensified once again after a social media user claimed that the upcoming ReNEET paper had been leaked. The allegation quickly gained attention among students preparing for the June 21 re-test, triggering fresh concerns over exam security.
The claim was made by an X (formerly Twitter) user, who alleged that he had informed authorities about alleged paper leak activities several days earlier but received no response.
In a series of posts, the user stated that he had privately contacted the National Testing Agency (NTA) and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan regarding the matter.
Reacting to the viral claim, the National Testing Agency issued a direct response on X, asking users not to spread misinformation.
“Please don't spread fake images and try to mislead students,” the agency said in its reply.
The response is in line with NTA's earlier statements, where the examination body repeatedly rejected allegations of a leak of the ReNEET 2026 question paper. According to the agency, several social media posts and messaging groups have been circulating fabricated content to create panic among students.
This is not the first time such allegations have appeared online. Over the past few days, several social media posts, messages, and screenshots claiming access to the Re-NEET question paper have circulated widely among aspirants.
However, NTA has consistently maintained that these claims are false and are often linked to fraudsters attempting to exploit students' anxiety before the examination. The agency has also warned candidates against purchasing or sharing any material advertised as leaked papers.
The Press Information Bureau's Fact Check unit recently examined viral paper leak allegations and declared them fake. Officials urged students to rely only on official notifications and avoid forwarding unverified content on social media platforms.
The latest allegations are receiving significant attention because the original NEET UG 2026 examination conducted on May 3 was cancelled following allegations of irregularities and paper leaks. As a result, the re-exam has been scheduled for June 21 under enhanced security measures.
The fresh claims have led to renewed skepticism among some aspirants, with many demanding greater transparency from authorities. At the same time, education officials continue to insist that the upcoming examination will be conducted fairly and securely.
To tackle fake paper leak rumours and impersonation attempts, NTA has also launched a dedicated reporting mechanism ahead of the June 21 examination. The agency says students can confidentially report suspicious activities or misleading claims through official channels.
Candidates appearing for ReNEET 2026 are advised to:
Rely only on official NTA announcements.
Avoid sharing unverified screenshots or viral images.
Report suspicious claims through official channels.
Focus on preparation rather than social media rumours.
As of now, no official evidence has been released to substantiate the latest paper leak allegation, and NTA continues to maintain that the viral images and claims being circulated online are fake.
