A Deemed University is an independent higher education institution recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). These colleges set their own fee structures and rules while maintaining high academic standards.
Eligibility: Admission is completely open to students from all states, as there are no state domicile restrictions.
Seat Allocation: All 100% of seats in these institutions are filled through central online counselling managed by the MCC.
Features of Deemed Medical College Seats
No direct or manual admissions are permitted by individual colleges.
Open to all NEET-qualified candidates across India based on rank.
Up to 15% of seats are reserved for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and sponsored candidates
Candidates must visit the official website to complete the registration process for the deemed university NEET admission.
Non-Refundable Registration Fee: ₹5,000 (applicable to all categories).
Refundable Security Deposit: ₹2,000,000.
Note: Candidates opting for both AIQ and Deemed University seats only need to pay the higher fee amount of ₹2,05,000.

Seat Allotment: MCC processes allotments based on NEET rank, preferences, and seat availability.
Reporting: Download the allotment letter and upload your required documents online or report to the college as instructed by the schedule.
The counselling process is conducted over four distinct online rounds:
Round 1: Initial choice filling with a free exit option.
Round 2: Fresh choice filling; exiting at this stage results in forfeiture of the security deposit.
Round 3: Upgradation round; joining the allotted seat is mandatory.
Online Stray Vacancy Round: Final round conducted online by MCC to fill any remaining vacant seats.
