The NEET marking scheme helps candidates estimate their probable scores after the answer key is released.
Each question carries 4 marks.
+4 marks are awarded for every correct answer.
-1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.
Unanswered questions receive 0 marks.
If multiple options are declared correct, candidates who select any correct option receive +4 marks.
If all options are declared correct, all candidates who attempted the question receive +4 marks.
If a question is found to be incorrect or dropped, all candidates who attempted it are awarded +4 marks, irrespective of the answer selected.
