NEET Success Story: PW Student Vineet Modi's Journey to 639 Marks

Vineet Modi from Lucknow scored 639 marks and secured an All India Rank of 2430 in Re-NEET. Behind this achievement was a challenging family situation, including financial difficulties and health problems faced by his father.

Despite these circumstances, Vineet continued preparing for NEET with the support of his parents. His preparation also included Physics Wallah’s online learning resources, which allowed him to continue studying from Lucknow. His journey reflects the importance of staying focused even when circumstances at home are difficult.

How Vineet Modi Started His NEET Journey

Vineet is from Lucknow and belongs to a modest family. His father runs a paan shop, while his mother works as a tailor and is also a homemaker. He also has two younger brothers who are studying.

Talking about his family, Vineet shared:

"Mere pita shree ki paan ki dukaan hai aur meri mata shree tailor hai abhi aur housewife hai."

Vineet's family worked hard to support his education. Seeing his parents manage their responsibilities while supporting the family became an important part of his journey. He continued focusing on his NEET preparation with the aim of securing a seat in medical college.

The Struggles Behind Vineet's Preparation

Vineet's preparation was not easy. His father had earlier been involved in the motor parts and truck business, but the business suffered a major loss and had to be stopped. He also faced health difficulties following two accidents, adding to the challenges for the family.

The family's monthly income was around ₹15,000 to ₹20,000. However, Vineet said that his parents managed these difficulties themselves and did not allow their problems to affect his preparation.

As Vineet explained:

"Baaki itni samasyaein hui hain lekin mujh tak aaj tak ek bhi nahi pahunchi, sab mere mata-pita ne sambhaal liye hain."

His words show how his parents tried to protect him from the financial and personal difficulties they were facing. Their support allowed Vineet to remain focused on his studies instead of worrying about problems at home.

How Physics Wallah's Yakeen Batch Supported Vineet

Alongside his preparation in Lucknow, Vineet used Physics Wallah's online learning platform. He prepared through the Yakeen batch and attended a Physics Wallah event through the MIP programme.

The online format allowed him to continue studying from home while managing the circumstances around him. This gave him access to learning support without requiring him to relocate from Lucknow.

Reflecting on her son's achievement, Vineet's mother said:

"Mera beta itne mukaam pe pahunch gaya ki aaj main bata nahi sakti hoon."

For Vineet's family, his progress was more than an academic achievement. It was also a reflection of the effort and sacrifices made by his parents while supporting his education.

The Result: Vineet Modi Secured AIR 2430 in NEET 

Vineet prepared through Physics Wallah's Yakeen batch and scored 639 marks, securing an All India Rank of 2430 in Re-NEET. Sharing her happiness at seeing her son's achievement, Vineet's mother said:

"Aaj main itni khush hoon ki aaj main bata nahi sakti hoon. Aaj mera beta itni safalta haasil kar li."

The result marked an important step towards Vineet's goal of pursuing medicine. It also showed how he continued working towards his target despite the financial and personal challenges faced by his family.

Vineet's journey is not only about his 639 marks or AIR 2430. It also reflects the role of family support, consistency, and determination during difficult circumstances.

His mother's words capture the family's emotions:

"Muskurahat ka koi mol nahi hota. Kuch rishton ka koi mol-tol nahi hota. Log milte hain har mod par, lekin har koi aapke jaisa anmol nahi hota."
