
NEET UG 2026 Application Fee Structure for All Categories: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official NEET (UG) 2026 Information Bulletin, which clearly outlines the application fee structure for candidates applying for the exam. NEET UG 2026 registration process began on 08 February 2026 and will remain open until 08 March 2026. The fee varies based on the candidate’s category and whether the exam centre is in India or outside India.
Understanding the correct fee amount is very important before filling out the online application form, as the fee once paid is non-refundable and cannot be carried forward to future exams.
As per the official notification, the NEET UG 2026 application process began on 08 February 2026 and will remain open until 08 March 2026. Candidates must complete the online fee payment by 08 March 2026 (11:50 PM). The category-wise application fee details are provided below:

Note: OBC-NCL candidates must belong to the Central List of OBC issued by the National Commission for Backwards Classes (NCBC) to claim this fee benefit.
Candidates can pay the NEET UG 2026 application fee only through online modes, including:
Debit Card
Credit Card
Net Banking
UPI
Additional processing charges and GST may be applicable as per the bank/payment gateway.
The Confirmation Page will be generated only after successful fee payment. Without this, the application will be considered incomplete.
The fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Fee once paid cannot be adjusted for future NEET exams.
Mere deduction from the bank account does not confirm payment — the confirmation page is proof.
In case of failed transactions, candidates must repay and later claim refunds (if duplicate payment occurs) after result declaration.
OBC-NCL: Must be in the Central OBC list on NCBC website.
EWS: Must have valid EWS certificate as per Government norms.
SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender: Must upload valid category certificate during application.
Documents will be verified again during counselling.
Wrong category selection may lead to cancellation of candidature at any stage.
Candidates selecting exam centres outside India are required to pay ₹ 9500, regardless of category. This is clearly specified in the official fee table.
