Aspirants can access the official portal to fill the application form, enter personal and academic details, upload required documents in the prescribed format, pay the application fee, and submit the form. The registration window is open from 8th February to 8th March 2026, and candidates are advised to complete the process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues

Step‑by‑Step Registration Process 2026

Here’s how to fill out the NEET UG 2026 Application Form accurately:

1. Visit the Official Portal

Go to the NTA NEET official website (https://neet.nta.nic.in) to begin the process. Never trust third‑party sites for form submission.

2. New Registration

  • Click “New Registration” or “Apply Online.”

  • Enter basic information such as your name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.

  • Create a password and security question.

  • An Application Number will be generated — save this for future login.

3. Fill Application Form

  • Log in using the Application Number and Password.

  • Enter personal details, contact information, academic qualifications, and exam city preferences.

  • Choose the medium of the question paper.

4. Upload Documents

Upload scanned documents as per NTA specifications:
✔ Recent passport‑size photograph
✔ Postcard‑size photograph
✔ Signature
✔ Thumb impression
✔ Class 10 certificate (DOB proof)
✔ Class 12 details
✔ Valid ID proof (Aadhaar, etc.)
Ensure the correct file format and size to avoid rejection.

5. Pay Application Fee

Make the payment through Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI before the deadline:

  • General: ₹1700

  • General‑EWS/OBC‑NCL: ₹1600

  • SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender: ₹1000

  • Outside India: ₹9500

6. Submit and Save

After reviewing every detail, submit the form and download the confirmation page and fee receipt. These are essential documents for future admission stages.

Important Note: The NEET UG 2026 application process is completely online. This includes filling the form, uploading scanned documents/images, paying the application fee, and generating the Confirmation Page and Admit Card.

Candidates do not need to send any documents (including the Confirmation Page) to NTA via post, fax, WhatsApp, email, or by hand. Applications submitted in any other mode will not be accepted.
