The National Testing Agency NEET 2026 has released an important notice for students who need extra help during the exam. The NTA NEET latest update is about the scribe facility for NEET 2026. A scribe is a person who helps a student write the exam if the student cannot write by themselves due to a physical limitation. Students can use the official website to submit the scribe details from June 9 to June 12, 2026.
The NTA scribe portal 2026 is now active for PwD candidates NEET 2026 and PwBD candidates NEET UG. It ensures proper NEET 2026 accessibility support so that every student gets a fair chance to give the test. The medical entrance exam is going to take place on June 21, 2026.
NTA has issued an official notice informing the students regarding the scribe registration facility available for the PwD students. It is a support system provided by NTA, providing a fair chance to the students appearing for the NEET exam. Use the NTA portal to get the scribe registration online before June 12, 2026 (11:50 PM).

Start Date for Registration: June 09, 2026
Last Date for Registration: June 12, 2026, until 11:50 P.M.
The National Testing Agency has made the online process simple. Eligible students can follow these basic steps to register their helper details:
Go to the official NTA website for the exam at https://neet.nta.nic.in.
Log in to the system using the correct application credentials.
Look for the button that says 'Register Scribe Details' on the home page and click it. This button will only be visible to students who qualify for NEET exam accommodations under the PwD or PwBD category.
Select the preferred scribe option and carefully fill in the required information.
Submit the form. Once submitted, the details can be checked on the left side of the page by clicking 'View Application Form' or on the final confirmation page.
The government has specific NEET UG disability provisions to support students with special needs. These rules allow students with physical disabilities to get a helper so they do not face difficulties while reading or marking answers during the big test.
It is important to know that the registration link will not appear for everyone. Only students who have already registered themselves under the eligible PwD or PwBD categories and are allowed to get a helper will see the option on their dashboard.
Students might face issues while uploading details on the website. If there is any trouble using the online system, the National Testing Agency has provided help numbers and email support.
