According to an official update, around 4 lakh candidates appearing for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination scheduled on June 21 have already downloaded their admit cards. However, a section of students has reported server-related issues and delays in accessing the hall ticket download page.

NTA Responds to Admit Card Access Issues

Addressing concerns raised by candidates, NTA said it is aware of the technical glitches being experienced by some users and assured students that dedicated teams are working continuously to resolve the problems.

In its statement, the agency noted that the large volume of simultaneous logins has put pressure on the system, resulting in intermittent access issues for certain candidates.

"Around 4 lakh candidates for NEET UG 2026 Examination on 21st June have downloaded their Admit Cards. We are aware that some of you are facing technical glitches or server issues in accessing your admit cards. Our teams have been working towards resolving all these issues. We are there, for you and will ensure that very soon, all candidates get their admit cards. Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted."

Candidates Asked Not to Panic

NTA has advised candidates not to worry if they are temporarily unable to access the portal. The agency reiterated that efforts are underway to restore normal access and ensure that every eligible candidate receives their admit card before the examination.

Students facing difficulties are encouraged to wait for some time and try again later rather than repeatedly refreshing the website during peak traffic periods.

NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Scheduled for June 21

The NEET UG 2026 re-examination is scheduled to be conducted on June 21, 2026. Candidates must carry a freshly downloaded admit card to the examination centre along with a valid photo identity proof and other documents mentioned in the official instructions.

The admit card contains important details such as the candidate's roll number, reporting time, examination centre address, and exam-day guidelines. Candidates should carefully verify all information after downloading the document.

Steps Candidates Should Take

To avoid last-minute problems, candidates are advised to:

  • Keep their application credentials ready before logging in.
  • Download the admit card during non-peak hours if possible.
  • Save multiple digital and printed copies of the hall ticket.
  • Check all personal and examination details carefully.
  • Contact NTA support in case of persistent issues or discrepancies.

With nearly 4 lakh candidates already having downloaded their admit cards, NTA has expressed confidence that the remaining candidates will soon be able to access their hall tickets as technical issues are resolved.
