NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 Schedule Revised, Check Registration, Choice Filling and Reporting Dates

NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 schedule has been revised by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). As per the notice dated August 13, 2026, candidates participating in counselling for 15% AIQ and 100% Deemed/Central Universities, AFMC, AIIMS institutions and JIPMER are required to follow the revised schedule.

The counselling is being conducted for admission to MBBS, BDS and B.Sc Nursing courses for the academic year 2026.

Candidates should complete registration, fee payment, choice filling and locking within the revised deadlines. The MCC website, mcc.nic.in, should be checked regularly for further updates.

NEET UG Counselling 2026 Registration and Payment Dates

Candidates can complete their Round 1 registration and fee payment from August 5 to August 15, 2026.

The registration facility remains available until 2:00 PM on August 15, while the payment facility remains open until 5:00 PM on the same day, as per server time.

Candidates should complete the process before the respective deadlines to avoid missing the counselling process.

NEET UG Counselling 2026 Choice Filling and Locking Dates

The choice filling process is scheduled from August 6 to August 17, 2026. Candidates can submit their preferred colleges and courses during this period.

Choice filling remains available until 6:00 PM on August 17, 2026.

The choice locking facility starts at 10:00 AM on August 17 and remains available until 6:00 PM. Candidates should carefully review their choices before locking them.

NEET UG Counselling 2026 Seat Allotment Result Date

After the completion of choice filling and locking, the seat allotment process will be conducted on August 18, 2026.

The NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result is scheduled to be released on August 19, 2026.

Candidates who receive a seat allotment should follow the instructions provided by MCC for the next stage of the admission process.

NEET UG Counselling 2026 Reporting and Joining Dates

Candidates allotted seats in Round 1 can complete the reporting and joining process from August 20 to August 25, 2026.

Candidates should report to the allotted institute within the specified timeline and complete the required admission formalities.

The participating institutes will subsequently verify the data of joined candidates on August 26, 2026.

The revised Round 1 schedule applies to counselling for the following courses:

The counselling covers 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and seats under 100% Deemed Universities, Central Universities, AFMC, AIIMS institutions and JIPMER at Puducherry and Karaikal.
