NEET UG Re-Exam 2026 Exam Day Check List: National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a detailed advisory for candidates appearing in the NEET UG 2026 Re-Examination on June 21, 2026. Aspirants have been advised to carefully follow the prescribed dress code, reporting schedule and security protocols to ensure hassle-free entry into the examination centre.
Candidates are advised to arrive at their examination centres well in advance, considering possible traffic congestion, weather conditions and security checks. The reporting window will remain open from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
NTA has clarified that the entry gates will close sharply at 1:30 PM, and no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre after the deadline under any circumstances.
Candidates wearing customary or religious attire, including items of faith such as turbans, hijabs, kalawas or similar religious symbols, should report early to allow sufficient time for detailed frisking procedures.
Similarly, candidates choosing to wear full-sleeved garments or woollen clothing have also been advised to arrive well before the reporting time to complete security checks smoothly.
Candidates must carry the following documents to the examination venue:
Printed copy of the NEET UG 2026 Re-Examination Admit Card
One original valid photo identity proof
Two passport-size photographs for affixing on the attendance sheet
To protect documents during the rainy season, candidates may carry their admit card inside a transparent plastic pouch.
NTA has permitted candidates to carry transparent water bottles inside the examination hall. Light clothing is preferred, although full-sleeve garments and woollens are allowed, subject to additional security screening.
For footwear, slippers and low-heeled sandals are recommended. Candidates wearing high-heeled footwear may undergo additional checks before entry.
Candidates are permitted to carry only approved items. The following articles are strictly banned inside the examination centre:
Mobile phones
Smart watches
Bluetooth accessories
Earphones and communication devices
Calculators
Wallets
Food packets
Heavy jewellery and metallic accessories
Large belt buckles and other metallic items
All candidates will undergo mandatory frisking before entering the examination centre.
NTA has urged candidates to rely only on official updates available on neet.nta.nic.in. Aspirants have been advised not to fall for rumours or fraudulent claims related to question paper leaks or other misinformation circulating online.
Candidates who come across suspicious messages, social media posts or channels should immediately report them to NTA or the cyber-crime authorities.
The agency has encouraged candidates to trust their preparation and remain calm ahead of the examination. For mental health support and counselling assistance, NTA has shared official helplines, including Tele-MANAS (14416), the 24x7 national mental health helpline.
NTA has requested all candidates to fully cooperate with examination authorities and follow the prescribed guidelines to ensure the smooth, secure and fair conduct of the NEET UG 2026 Re-Examination.
