Before submitting any objection, candidates should keep the following points in mind:
Review the scanned OMR sheet carefully before filing a challenge.
Only completely darkened circles using a blue or black ballpoint pen are considered valid.
Marking more than one option for a question makes the response invalid.
Responses once marked cannot be altered.
Stray marks or incomplete circles may affect OMR scanning.
Submit challenges only after comparing the scanned OMR image with the recorded response.
Challenges submitted without payment will not be accepted.
Any manipulated or tampered OMR image may invite strict action under the Unfair Means (UFM) rules.
Once the challenge window closes, NTA will examine every valid objection submitted by candidates.
If the authority finds that a response has been incorrectly captured by the scanning agency, the correction will be made accordingly. The NEET 2026 final result will be prepared after considering all verified corrections. Since the NEET 2026 Answer Key challenge process has already concluded, candidates can now raise objections only against recorded OMR responses, not against the answer key.
