The Ludhiana-based student has become an inspiration for lakhs of NEET aspirants after revealing the intense preparation and dedication behind his success.
After the declaration of the Re-NEET UG 2026 results, Aryan Gupta shared that securing AIR 1 feels surreal and almost like a dream. Coming from a family of doctors, he said his parents have been extremely happy with the result.
Aryan revealed that he studied for nearly 16 to 17 hours every day during his preparation. He also admitted that there were times when he sacrificed sleep to stay focused on his goal.
Aryan's ambition to pursue medicine is deeply personal. He wants to become an oncologist and work in the field of cancer treatment. According to him, this dream began when he was in Class 3 and lost his grandmother to cancer.
That childhood experience motivated him to take a pledge to enter the medical profession and contribute towards cancer care in the future.
Aryan's mother, Reenu Gupta, expressed immense happiness over her son's achievement and said the family is on cloud nine. She credited his hard work, honesty, dedication, and his sincere approach towards following teachers' guidance for helping him reach this milestone.
His father, Dr. Sachin Gupta, also described the result as one of the happiest moments of his life. He said that there can be no greater joy for parents than seeing their children excel in their chosen fields.
Dr. Gupta further revealed that Aryan's elder brother had secured AIR 54 in NEET last year, and Aryan was inspired by his brother's achievement to aim even higher.
However, Aryan Gupta's remarkable journey from Ludhiana to becoming a Re-NEET UG 2026 topper highlights the importance of discipline, consistency, and having a clear purpose in life. His story is expected to inspire countless medical aspirants across the country.
