Re-NEET Refund Portal Link 2026: National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the NEET Refund Portal Link 2026, giving another opportunity to candidates who have not yet confirmed or updated their bank account details for the refund of Re-NEET UG 2026 examination fee. The refund is being processed following the cancellation of the NEET UG 2026 examination held on 3 May 2026.
Earlier, on 6 July 2026, NTA informed through its official X (formerly Twitter) account that 8,29,510 candidates had successfully corrected or updated their bank account details out of nearly 20 lakh eligible candidates. Since more than 11 lakh candidates were still left to complete the verification process, the agency has once again reopened the refund portal.
NTA also confirmed that the refund process has already started for verified candidates. Eligible candidates who have not yet submitted or confirmed their bank account details can now complete the process by 14 July 2026 (11:50 PM).
Candidates who have not yet verified or updated their bank account details can now access the NEET refund portal through the official website.

After logging in, candidates need to:
Complete the two-factor authentication.
Click on "Bank Account Details Confirmation/Updation."
Enter or correct their bank account details.
Submit the details.
Upload a cancelled cheque (optional but recommended).
NTA had earlier opened the refund portal and requested candidates to verify their bank account details. However, despite repeated reminders, a significant number of eligible candidates did not complete the verification process.
To ensure that every eligible candidate receives the examination fee refund, NTA has reopened the refund portal and extended the deadline. The agency has requested all pending candidates to complete the process before the last date to avoid any delay in receiving the refund.

On 6 July 2026, NTA shared an update through its official X (formerly Twitter) account stating that 8,29,510 candidates had successfully updated or corrected their bank account details out of nearly 20 lakh eligible candidates. This indicated that over 11 lakh candidates had still not completed the verification process.
Since a large number of eligible students are still pending verification, NTA has decided to reopen the portal and extend the deadline until 14 July 2026 (11:50 PM).
Candidates can complete the process by following these simple steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website https://neet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Log in using your Application Number and Password.
Step 3: Complete the two-factor authentication.
Step 4: Click on "Bank Account Details Confirmation/Updation."
Step 5: Enter or update your bank account details carefully.
Step 6: Upload a cancelled cheque, if desired. Although optional, NTA recommends uploading it to ensure the accuracy of bank details.
Step 7: Verify all information and submit the form.
Step 8: Save the confirmation page for future reference.
NTA will refund the full NEET UG 2026 examination fee paid by eligible candidates for the cancelled examination held on 3 May 2026. The refund amount will be credited directly to the verified bank account submitted by the candidate. No deductions will be made from the fee.

General category candidates will receive ₹1,700, while OBC and EWS candidates are eligible for a refund of ₹1,600. Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, PwD, and Third Gender categories will receive ₹1,000. NRI candidates will receive ₹9,500, which is the complete examination fee paid during registration.
Candidates are advised to verify their bank account details carefully before submitting them on the refund portal. Refunds will be processed only to successfully verified bank accounts.
While updating bank account details, candidates may also upload a cancelled cheque. Although this is optional, NTA has advised candidates to upload it to ensure the correctness of their bank account information and reduce the chances of refund failure.
