Re-NEET Result 2026 Statistics: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the NEET UG 2026 results, with 11.21 lakh candidates qualifying for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and allied medical courses.
Nearly 20 lakh candidates appeared for the examination, which was conducted at 5,440 centres across 551 Indian cities and 14 international cities. More than 58% of the qualified candidates are women, while Aryan Gupta secured the highest score of 715 out of 720 marks.

The results have been announced in time to ensure that the counselling and medical admission schedule remains on track.
A total of 11.21 lakh candidates have qualified for undergraduate medical admissions this year. Candidates from all 36 States and Union Territories have secured qualifying scores in the examination.

A total of 138 candidates scored above 690 marks, while 19 candidates crossed the 700-mark barrier.

The top-performing candidates showcased remarkable performances across different states and cities.
More than 93% of candidates scoring above 690 marks were first-time test takers.
Around 99% of top rankers belong to the 17–19 years age group.
The top 138 candidates came from 66 cities across India.
The top 17 rankers scoring above 705 marks belong to Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana.
Women continued to outperform male candidates in NEET UG 2026.
More than 58% of all qualified candidates are women.
56.8% of female candidates who appeared qualified.
The qualification rate among male candidates stood at 55.1%.
This reflects the increasing participation and success of women candidates in medical entrance examinations.
Qualified candidates emerged from every State and Union Territory, ranging from over 1.7 lakh qualified candidates in Uttar Pradesh to 43 candidates in Lakshadweep. State toppers include:
