What If You Forget NEET Admit Card on Exam Day?

The NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a national-level medical entrance examination scheduled to be organised on May 3, 2026. Students should maintain a checklist of the required documents to carry on the exam day. It includes the NEET admit card with the ID proof and photograph. All these documents serve as an ID proof for any student to pass the security check and sit in the NEET examination.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) maintains strict security protocols, and entry into the examination hall is strictly prohibited without a physical hall ticket.

Many students wonder if the NEET admit card is compulsory or not for entry. It is the most vital document you possess on exam day. It serves as your official permission letter and contains your roll number, allotted centre, and identity details. Without it, the center staff cannot verify your identity or your right to take the test.

Authority Note: The admit card must be downloaded and carried as it contains exam centre details and candidate information. NEET exam without an admit card allowed scenarios simply do not exist in the official policy.
