Candidates must fulfill the educational qualifications, registration requirements, and language criteria mentioned in the notification.
Applicants should have:
Passed Senior Secondary (10+2) with Science or an equivalent qualification.
Completed Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Pharm-D, or a higher pharmacy qualification from a recognized institution.
Obtained registration as a Pharmacist with the Punjab Pharmacy Council under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
Acquired all qualifications and registration before the last date of application submission.
Candidates must have studied Punjabi at the Matriculation level as a compulsory or elective subject or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Punjab Government.
Additionally, applicants must qualify the Punjabi Language Test conducted as part of the recruitment process and secure at least 50% marks. Candidates failing to clear this test will not be considered for final selection.
Candidates must be between 18 and 37 years of age as on January 1, 2026.

BFUHS will conduct a competitive written examination carrying 90 marks. Candidates must obtain at least 33% marks to qualify. Those securing less than the prescribed minimum marks will be declared ineligible.
Candidates with eligible experience will be awarded marks according to Punjab Government guidelines. A maximum of 10 marks can be granted under this component.
The final merit list will be prepared based on combined scores from the written examination and experience marks. In cases where candidates obtain equal marks, preference will be given to the older candidate.
Selected candidates will receive an initial basic pay of ₹29,200 per month under Level-5 of the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix. Additional allowances and benefits will be applicable as per Punjab Government rules and service regulations.
