With the CBSE Board Exams 2026 set to begin on February 17, the board is hosting a critical live webcast today, February 13, 2026. This mandatory session is designed to brief students, teachers, and principals on the massive structural changes and digital evaluation systems being introduced this year.
Below is the direct access information and a summary of the key reforms you need to know.
The session is being streamed live on YouTube to accommodate the 46 lakh students and thousands of school staff participating globally.

Alternative Access: Go to YouTube and search for the official channel: "BoardExams@CBSE"
Time: 11:00 AM IST onwards (Duration: Approx. 2 hours)
The webcast primarily focuses on three "first-time" initiatives aimed at modernizing the Indian examination system:
For the first time, Class 12 answer booklets will be evaluated digitally. Scanned copies will be checked on computer screens by examiners to eliminate totaling errors and increase transparency.
Aligned with NEP 2020, Class 10 students now have an optional second window in May/June 2026 to improve their scores or reappear for specific subjects, reducing the "one-day" exam pressure.
The Science and Social Science papers for Class 10 have been restructured with clear subject-wise divisions (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Biology). The webcast will explain how to answer these sections to avoid mark deductions.
