
CBSE Board Exam 2026 Revised Dates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced a revision in the CBSE Board Exam 2026 schedule for Classes 10 and 12. As per the latest notification issued by the board, the examinations that were earlier scheduled on 03 March 2026 have now been postponed due to administrative reasons. The revised dates have been announced to avoid inconvenience to students and schools. CBSE has clarified that all other examination dates will remain unchanged. The updated dates will also be reflected in the revised date sheet and admit cards once issued.
CBSE has rescheduled only those examinations that were earlier fixed for 03 March 2026. The decision has been taken considering administrative reasons and festival-related concerns. Schools have been instructed to inform students and parents about the revised dates.
The board has also confirmed that revised date sheets will be uploaded officially, and the same information will be printed on admit cards.

The official notification reads: “It is hereby informed that the examinations of the subjects for Class X and Class XII, which were earlier scheduled on 03 March 2026, have been rescheduled due to administrative reasons. The revised dates are as follows:
Class X – 11 March 2026
Class XII – 10 April 2026
All other examination dates remain unchanged. Schools are requested to kindly disseminate this information to all concerned students and parents for their information and necessary action. Date sheets are being amended accordingly and the revised dates will also be mentioned in the admit cards when issued. Your cooperation is appreciated for the smooth conduct of examinations.”
The CBSE Class 12 board examinations for 2026 will be conducted between 17 February and 10 April 2026 in pen-and-paper mode. Only the exam earlier scheduled on 3 March has been postponed to 10 April 2026. All other subject-wise exam dates remain unchanged.

The CBSE Class 10 board exams will be conducted from 17 February to 11 March 2026. The paper scheduled earlier on 3 March has now been shifted to 11 March 2026.

CBSE has confirmed that only the March 3 papers have been rescheduled, while the rest of the exam calendar remains unchanged. Students should regularly check the official CBSE website for updated date sheets and admit card release notices. Schools have also been instructed to inform students and parents officially. The board has ensured sufficient gaps between exams and has planned the schedule keeping competitive entrance examinations in mind.
