CBSE Class 10 Printed Marksheet 2026: After the declaration of the CBSE Class 10 Result 2026, students and parents are now eager to know when and how they will receive their original marksheets and passing certificates. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has clarified the process for obtaining both digital and printed academic documents for regular as well as private candidates.

Along with online scorecards, CBSE will provide official marksheets through schools and DigiLocker, ensuring that students can access their documents easily.
CBSE has informed that the Printed Mark Sheet-cum-Passing Certificate for all regular students, including those studying in CBSE-affiliated schools abroad, will be distributed through their respective schools.
Students do not need to apply separately for these documents. Once schools receive the original certificates from CBSE, they will inform students regarding the collection process.
Regular students will receive the following documents from their schools:
Printed Mark Sheet-cum-Passing Certificate
Migration Certificate (where applicable)
Other academic documents issued by CBSE
Students are advised to stay in touch with their schools for updates regarding the availability of these documents.
Apart from printed certificates, CBSE has also made digital academic documents available through DigiLocker. Students can download and access their documents online immediately after the result declaration.
Schools can also access students' digital academic records through the CBSE repository using their existing login credentials.
This digital facility allows students to use their academic documents for admissions and other official purposes without waiting for physical copies.
Students enrolled in CBSE-affiliated schools outside India will also receive their digital academic documents through DigiLocker.
Their printed marksheets and certificates will be supplied through their respective schools, similar to students studying in India.
CBSE has made separate arrangements for private candidates.
Private candidates will receive:
Digital academic documents through DigiLocker.
Printed documents at their registered postal addresses.
However, private candidates falling under the Delhi East and Delhi West Regional Offices will not receive printed documents by post. Instead, they will have to collect their original documents from the examination centres where they appeared for the examination.
CBSE has also informed that school-wise results will be shared directly with schools through their registered email addresses. Schools can access and download students' digital records through the official repository provided by the Board.
This system has been introduced to ensure faster and smoother access to academic documents.
The Board has stated that details regarding post-result services such as:
Verification of marks
Obtaining photocopies of evaluated answer books
Re-evaluation process
Other result-related services
will be notified separately through an official circular.
Students are advised to regularly check official CBSE notifications for updates regarding these services.
CBSE has urged students and parents not to rely on social media rumours or unverified information related to result processing, marksheets, or post-result activities.
According to the Board, only information released through official communication channels should be considered authentic.
For any queries related to results or documents, candidates can contact CBSE through its official support channels, including regional offices and tele-helplines.
