CBSE Class 10 Science Board Exam 2026, scheduled for 25 February 2026, comes with a more structured and subject-focused format. The board has redesigned the question paper to ensure balanced evaluation across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics while promoting competency-based assessment.
The total theory marks remain 80, but the paper is now clearly divided into three subject-specific sections. Students must carefully follow section-wise answering instructions, as mixing responses across sections may lead to non-evaluation.
The 80-mark theory paper is divided as follows:
Section A – Biology (30 marks)
Section B – Chemistry (25 marks)
Section C – Physics (25 marks)
Total: 80 Marks (Theory) + 20 Marks (Internal Assessment)

Divide your answer sheet into three clear sections: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Write answers strictly within the designated subject section.
Do not mix answers across sections.
Mixed responses may not be evaluated.
Such mistakes will not be considered during re-evaluation.
The revised format ensures a structured and analytical assessment while encouraging conceptual clarity across all three Science disciplines. Students appearing on 25 February 2026 should practice section-wise answer writing during revision to avoid errors in the final exam
