CBSE Class 12 Re-evaluation 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the official schedule for obtaining scanned copies of evaluated answer books, verification of issues observed, and re-evaluation for the Senior Secondary Examination 2025-26. Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply online through the official CBSE portal within the prescribed dates.
The board has clarified that all requests submitted by students will be reviewed by subject experts. Corrections will only be made if the claim is found valid. CBSE has also stated that its final decision regarding verification and re-evaluation will remain binding on all candidates.
CBSE has divided the post-result process into two stages — obtaining scanned copies of answer books and applying for verification or re-evaluation.

marks not awarded despite correct answers,
errors in totalling,
or discrepancies in marking.
The board will review all requests carefully before making any correction.
CBSE has advised students to compare their answer books with the official marking scheme available on the board website before applying for re-evaluation.
Download the question paper and official marking scheme from the CBSE website.
Compare your answers carefully with the marking scheme.
Identify questions where marks may have been missed.
Clearly explain the issue while submitting the application.
Ensure the explanation is simple and easy for evaluators to understand.
Applications will be accepted only through online mode.
Students should mention only genuine issues supported by proper reasoning.
Fees paid for verification or re-evaluation are generally non-refundable.
CBSE’s final decision after expert review will be considered final and binding.
Students who believe that:
their answers were evaluated incorrectly,
marks were not awarded properly,
or there are calculation errors,
can apply for verification or re-evaluation.
Candidates are advised to first obtain the scanned copy of their evaluated answer book before proceeding with re-evaluation.
