
Central Board of Secondary Education has announced a special examination schedule for Class 12 students who missed the regular board exams due to participation in recognized sports events.
According to the official notice released on 27 March 2026, these students will now appear for the exam in April 2026. Schools affiliated with CBSE have been asked to inform all eligible students who were granted exemption earlier.
This initiative ensures that students representing their school, state, or country in sports do not lose their opportunity to complete their board examinations.
The special exams for eligible students will be conducted on the following dates:

All exams will be conducted in a single shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
CBSE will release fresh admit cards for students appearing in these special exams. Candidates must download the new admit card before the examination.
Important details:
The exam centre will remain the same as already allotted earlier.
Students must carry the new admit card to the examination centre.
Without the admit card, entry may not be allowed.

Candidates must strictly follow all instructions issued by CBSE.
No communication devices will be allowed inside the examination centre.
Students will not be allowed to enter the centre after 10:00 AM.
Candidates must maintain proper discipline during the exam.
All instructions mentioned on the admit card must be followed carefully.
The duration of each exam will be as mentioned in the date sheet and admit card.
Students will get 15 minutes reading time to read the question paper.
