CBSE Holds Live Q&A Webinar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) held a live Q&A webinar on “Relevance of Registration & LOC” on September 29, 2026. The webinar focused on helping schools understand the registration and List of Candidates (LOC) process for the 2027 Board Examinations. CBSE said the aim is to make examination-related work more student-friendly, clear, and transparent.

The List of Candidates (LOC) submission for the Class X and Class XII Board Examinations 2027 is underway. The LOC contains important details of students who will appear for the Board Examinations. Schools need to carefully check the information before submitting it to the Board.
Registration for students of Classes IX and XI will begin shortly. The registration and LOC processes cover nearly 32,000 CBSE-affiliated schools in India and 26 other countries. This makes accurate and timely data submission important for a large number of schools and students.
CBSE organised an interactive webinar session for the schools.

The webinar included an interactive question-and-answer session. Senior CBSE officials and the Controller of Examinations responded to questions from school principals and educators.
Questions covered topics such as correction of demographic details, changes in subjects, verification of student data, and registration procedures. These discussions helped explain common issues that schools may face while completing the process.
More than 450 school principals and educators attended the session in person. The webinar was also live-streamed on YouTube, allowing other stakeholders to follow the discussion online.
Registration and LOC are important parts of the CBSE examination process. Student names, personal details, subjects, and other information must be entered correctly. Errors in submitted data may create difficulties when examination-related records are prepared.
CBSE's focus on accuracy and timely submission is also linked to a smoother examination process. Schools should check every detail carefully and follow the instructions issued by the Board. The Board has also issued a current circular for submission of the LOC for Class X and XII main examinations for the 2026-27 session.
Schools should keep student records ready and verify the information with school records before submission. Any correction or change should be handled according to the process and timeline notified by CBSE.
