
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the curriculum for the 2026–27 academic session for Classes XI and XII on April 1, 2026. This update is part of broader reforms aligned with the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-2023), aiming to modernise learning standards. The curriculum for Classes IX and X will follow on April 2, 2026, as CBSE begins implementing structural changes from Class IX onward. To help educators understand the revisions, CBSE will conduct a detailed webinar explaining the updated scheme of studies, guidelines, and overall academic approach for the upcoming session.
As part of implementing National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-2023), CBSE will introduce changes in the scheme of studies starting from Class IX.
The curriculum for Classes IX and X will be released on April 2, 2026.
