
CTET Exam Date 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the CTET Exam Date 2026 for the September session. According to the latest notification, the 22nd edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be conducted on September 6, 2026, in offline mode across various examination centres.
Candidates preparing for teaching eligibility examinations can now plan their preparation strategy according to the official exam schedule released by CBSE.
The CTET September Session 2026 examination for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be conducted on a single day in two separate shifts. The examination will be organised in pen-and-paper mode at designated centres across the country.
CTET Paper 1 is conducted for candidates aspiring to teach Classes 1 to 5, while Paper 2 is meant for candidates seeking eligibility to teach Classes 6 to 8.

The CTET examination will be conducted in morning and evening shifts for Paper 2 and Paper 1 respectively.
Paper 2: 9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon
Paper 1: 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM
Candidates are advised to reach the examination centre well before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.
The CTET Admit Card 2026 will be released online before the examination. Candidates will be able to download their hall tickets through the official CTET portal using their login credentials.
