DRDO Internship 2026 Read Full Notice
Candidates must fulfill specific academic qualifications and age standards to be eligible for this internship. Only full-time students from recognized colleges can apply.
B.E. / B.Tech Candidates: Must be in their final year with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 7.5 across all previous semesters.
M.Sc Candidates: Must be in their second year with a minimum score of 70% in their first year.
Institute Accreditation: Enrolled as regular full-time students in UGC or AICTE-approved institutions.
Age Limit: Applicants must be below 25 years of age.

Selected interns work on live defence projects for half a year under expert mentorship. Financial support is provided to assist students with their monthly expenses during the training.
Internship Tenure: Six months.
Monthly Allowance: Rs 5,000 per month.
Mandatory Attendance: Minimum of 15 working days per month at the laboratory.
Payment Schedule: Disbursed in two instalments—after three months and after six months.
CASDIC uses a merit-based approach to select interns for each domain. The process ensures transparent evaluation of technical competence.
