The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially announced the results for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December 2025 session. Candidates who appeared for the screening test held in January 2026 can now access their qualifying status online.

How to Check Your FMGE December 2026Result
To ensure a smooth experience, candidates are advised to follow these steps to check their scores:

Visit the Official Website: Go to natboard.edu.in.

Locate the Result Link: Look for the notification titled "Result of FMGE (Screening Test), December 2025-26 Session."

Open the PDF: Click on the link to open the result notice. Within the notice, a direct link to the result PDF is provided.

Find Your Roll Number: Use the ‘Ctrl+F’ function to search for your Roll Number.

Check Qualifying Status: The PDF will display your Roll Number, Application ID, Score (out of 300), and Result (Pass/Fail).
Qualifying Criteria for FMGE
To pass the FMGE screening test, candidates must secure a minimum of 150 marks out of 300. Those who meet this cutoff are eligible to receive their permanent or provisional registration from the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Councils, allowing them to practice medicine in India.

Pass Certificates: The NBEMS will issue "FMGE Pass Certificates" in person to qualified candidates. The schedule for the distribution of these certificates will be notified separately on the official website.
What’s Next for Qualified Candidates?
Candidates who have cleared the exam must prepare for the physical verification of documents. You will be required to carry your original certificates, including your primary medical qualification, to the NBEMS office as per the allotted schedule to receive your passing certificate.
Failing Candidates and Re-evaluation
Per NBEMS guidelines, there is no provision for re-evaluation or re-checking of the FMGE answer sheets. Candidates who did not qualify in this session can appear for the next session, typically held in June/July 2026
