
The GATE 2026 result is set to be declared tomorrow, March 19, 2026, bringing an end to the long wait for lakhs of engineering aspirants. Conducted this year by IIT Guwahati, the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a gateway to M.Tech admissions in IITs, NITs, IIITs, and recruitment in top PSUs.
Candidates will be able to check their results on the official website gate2026.iitg.ac.in using their GOAPS enrollment ID/email and password.

The GATE 2026 scorecard will include:

GATE score (out of 1000)

All India Rank (AIR)
Qualifying cut-off marks
Category and paper code
The scorecard will be available from March 27 to May 31, 2026 (free download).
The qualifying cut-off will be released along with the result. It represents the minimum marks required to pass the exam and obtain a valid scorecard.
Cut-offs vary by branch and category
OBC/EWS candidates get ~10% relaxation
SC/ST/PwD candidates get ~33% relaxation
Note: Qualifying cut-off is different from admission cut-off, which will be released later by IITs, NITs, and PSUs.
Once the result is declared, candidates should immediately start planning their next steps:
