
RBI Grade B Prelims Result 2026: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the RBI Grade B Prelims Result 2026 for the recruitment of Officer Grade B (General). Candidates who appeared for the Phase I examination can now check whether they have qualified for the next stage of the selection process by downloading the merit list PDF from the official website, rbi.org.in.
The result has been published in PDF format and contains only the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates. Individual marks and category-wise cut-off scores have not been released along with the result and will be announced separately by the central bank. Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the merit list will be eligible to appear for the RBI Grade B Phase II examination, which is scheduled to be held on July 25, 2026.

Open your web browser and go to the official website of the Reserve Bank of India at rbi.org.in. Candidates are advised to use only the official website to check their results and avoid relying on unofficial sources.
On the homepage, locate the 'Opportunities at RBI' tab. This section contains all information related to recruitment notifications, examinations, admit cards and results released by the central bank.
After clicking on 'Opportunities at RBI', a new page will appear. Select 'Current Vacancies' and proceed to the 'Results' section, where all recently announced recruitment results are listed.
Look for the link titled 'RBI Grade B Officer (General) Phase I Result 2026'. Clicking on the link will open the merit list PDF in a new window.
The result PDF contains only the roll numbers of candidates who have successfully cleared the preliminary examination. To search quickly, press Ctrl + F on your computer or use the search option available on your mobile device. Enter your roll number in the search box and check whether it appears in the document.
Candidates who find their roll numbers in the merit list should download and save the PDF for future reference. It is also advisable to take a printout of the result for record purposes and to keep the roll number handy for the next stages of the recruitment process.
