ICAI will upload the mock test papers on the BoS Knowledge Portal/BoS MTP Registration Portal. Candidates appearing in the virtual mode can download the question paper and attempt it within the prescribed three-hour duration.
The papers are scheduled to be uploaded by 9:30 AM on the respective test dates.
Candidates should follow these steps:
Visit the official ICAI BoS portal.
Open the Mock Test Paper section.
Select the CA Final November 2026 mock test.
Download the question paper for the scheduled subject.
Attempt the paper from 2 PM to 5 PM.
Check the answer key after its release.
ICAI will release the answer keys within 48 hours of the commencement of each mock test. Students should use the answer keys to evaluate their performance and identify topics that need more revision.
Instead of only checking the score, candidates should analyse:
Questions they answered incorrectly
Topics where concepts are unclear
Time spent on each section
Presentation and answer-writing approach
Questions left unanswered
Repeated mistakes across mock tests
The CA Final Mock Test Series 2026 will be available in both physical and virtual modes.
Students who want to take the test physically can contact their respective ICAI branch for participation details. Candidates opting for the virtual mode can access the papers through the designated online portal.
The virtual option can be particularly useful for students who want to practise under conditions similar to the actual examination from home.
Mock tests are not just practice papers. They can help students understand how well their preparation translates into a timed examination.
The three-hour test gives students an opportunity to practise completing the paper within the actual time limit.
Performance analysis can help candidates identify chapters and concepts that require additional revision.
For CA Final preparation, knowing the concept is not enough. Students also need to practise presenting answers clearly and effectively.
Regularly attempting full-length papers can reduce exam-day pressure and help students become comfortable with the examination environment.
Attempting Series 1 and Series 2 gives students two opportunities to compare their performance and measure improvement before the November 2026 CA Final exams.
Students should treat each mock test like the actual CA Final examination. Avoid checking notes or study material while attempting the paper.
A useful strategy is:
Attempt → Evaluate → Analyse → Revise → Reattempt
After completing a mock test, maintain a mistake notebook and record the concepts, questions and errors that need attention. Revise these areas before moving to the next mock test.
With the mock tests scheduled from September, students should use the period before the first series for syllabus revision and concept strengthening.
Complete at least one round of syllabus revision before Mock Test Series 1.
Practise ICAI study material and previous questions.
Solve the mock paper within the exact three-hour limit.
Avoid spending too much time on one question.
Analyse the answer key carefully.
Maintain a subject-wise mistake list.
Revise weak topics before Series 2.
Use Series 2 as a final performance check before the CA Final examination.
