Candidates appearing for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 should reach the examination centre well in advance. As per the official instructions, students must report at the exam centre at least 2 hours before the start of the examination.
This time is required for entry formalities, verification of documents, and seating arrangements inside the exam hall. Candidates should take their seats immediately after the examination hall opens.
If a candidate does not reach the exam centre before the gate closing time, entry will not be allowed under any circumstances. Even if the delay happens due to traffic, travel issues, or any other reason, late candidates will not be permitted to appear for the exam. The National Testing Agency will not be responsible for delays in reaching the examination centre.
JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam will be conducted in two shifts each day across various exam centres in India. The shift timing depends on the exam schedule mentioned on the admit card.
