Exam Structure Overview

The exam is divided into Section A and Section B for B.Tech aspirants and includes a separate Aptitude Test for B.Arch/B.Planning. Here’s the breakdown:

B.Tech Subjects – Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics

SECTION A (Maximum Marks: 80)

  • Number of Questions: 20 per subject

  • Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four options. Only one option is correct.

  • Instructions:

    • Use the constants provided in the questions (if any) for calculations.

    • Carefully read each question before answering.

  • Marking Scheme:

    • Correct answer: +4 marks

    • Unanswered/Marked for Review: 0 marks

    • Incorrect answer: -1 mark

SECTION B (Maximum Marks: 20)

  • Number of Questions: 5 per subject

  • Question Type: Numerical value questions (answers must be entered as integers).

  • Instructions:

    • Use the constants given in the question (if any) for calculations.

    • Round off answers to the nearest integer.

    • Use the onscreen virtual numeric keypad to enter answers.

  • Marking Scheme:

    • Correct answer: +4 marks

    • Unanswered/Marked for Review: 0 marks

    • Incorrect answer: -1 mark
