JEE Main 2026 Session 2 admit card has been released for candidates appearing on April 2 and 4 exams by the National Testing Agency. Students can download it from jeemain.nta.nic.in. Admit cards for exams scheduled on April 5 to 8 will be released soon on the official website.

JEE Main Admit Card 2026: Admit card for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 has been released for candidates appearing on April 2 and April 4, 2026. The announcement was made through a public notice issued on 29 March 2026 by the National Testing Agency. Students who registered for the April session can now download their admit card from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam will be conducted at multiple centres across India and in 15 cities outside India. Admit cards for the remaining exam dates will be released soon.

JEE Main Admit Card 2026 Out: 10 Things Students Should Know

Here are 10 important points every student should know before the exam.

1. Admit Card Released for April 2 and April 4 Exams

Candidates whose exams are scheduled on 02 and 04 April 2026 can now download their admit card from the official JEE Main website.

2. Remaining Admit Cards Will Be Released Soon

Admit cards for candidates appearing on April 5, 6, 7, and 8, 2026 have not been released yet. According to the official notice, they will be issued in due course.

3. Official Website to Download Admit Card

Students must download the hall ticket from the official portal: https://jeemain.nta.nic.in.Candidates need their application number and password or date of birth to log in.

4. JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Exam Dates

The exam will be conducted between April 2 and April 8, 2026 in different shifts and papers.

  • April 2 and 4 – Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech)

  • April 5, 6, 7, and 8 – Paper 1, Paper 2A (B.Arch), and Paper 2B (B.Planning)

5. Exam Will Be Held in Two Shifts

The examination will take place in two sessions each day:

  • Morning Shift: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon

  • Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM / 6:30 PM

Students should check their exact shift timing mentioned on the admit card.

6. Check QR Code and Barcode on Admit Card

While downloading the admit card, candidates must ensure that the QR code and barcode are clearly visible. Without this, the admit card may not be considered valid.

7. Carry the Same Photo ID Used During Registration

Students must bring a valid photo ID proof that matches the details uploaded in the application form. This is required for identity verification at the exam centre.

8. Exam City Details Already Shared

The exam city and date information has already been communicated to eligible candidates earlier. The admit card now includes the complete exam centre details.

9. Read All Instructions Carefully

Candidates are advised to carefully read:

  • Subject-specific instructions

  • Exam day guidelines

  • Instructions mentioned on the admit card and question paper

Following these rules is important to avoid issues during the exam.
