
JEE Main Paper 2 Provisional Answer Key 2026 (Out) for Session 1: National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the provisional answer key for Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2026 Paper 2 (Session 1) on February 19, 2026. Candidates who appeared for Paper 2A (B.Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Planning) can now access the answer key along with their recorded response sheets through the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The provisional answer key enables candidates to verify their responses and estimate their probable scores using the prescribed marking scheme. To download the answer key PDF, candidates must log in using their application number and password.
The objection window is available from February 19 to February 20, 2026 (up to 11:50 PM). A non-refundable processing fee of ₹200 per question is applicable for each challenge submitted.
Candidates who identify discrepancies in the provisional answer key can challenge it within the specified timeline. The entire process is conducted online, and no objections will be accepted after the deadline.
A non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question must be paid through debit card, credit card, or net banking. Supporting documents must also be uploaded to justify the challenge.

Log in using your Application Number and Password.
Select the question(s) you wish to challenge.
Choose the option you believe is correct.
Upload supporting documents in a single PDF file.
Click on “Save your claim and Pay Fee.”
Pay ₹200 per question via online mode.
Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference.
If a candidate’s challenge is found valid, NTA will revise the answer key accordingly. The revised responses will be applied uniformly to all candidates.
Direct Link to Raise Ojections
After the challenge window closes, subject experts will review all submitted objections. Based on their evaluation, the final answer key will be released in February 2026. The JEE Main Paper 2 Session 1 result will then be prepared and declared on the basis of the revised final answer key.
No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance or rejection of their challenge. The decision of the expert panel will be final and binding. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for updates regarding the final answer key and result declaration.
