The JEE Main January Session result will no longer be released on February 12. NTA has revised the declaration date and confirmed that results will now be published by February 16, 2026. The decision comes as part of the final evaluation and normalization process. Students are advised not to panic and avoid unofficial sources of information. The agency is completing the final answer key process before publishing the results and cut-off scores.
The National Testing Agency informed candidates about the postponement through an official notice shared on its X (formerly Twitter) handle.
In the notice, NTA clarified that the Session 1 results will be declared by February 16 instead of February 12.
As per the latest update, JEE Main 2026 Session 1 results will now be declared by February 16, 2026 (Monday). Candidates can check their scorecards online through the official portal. The result will include percentile scores, subject-wise marks, and All India Rank (AIR). Along with the result, the official cut-off is also expected to be released. Students who qualify will be eligible for JEE Advanced 2026 and counselling processes.
Once released, candidates can easily access their results through the official NTA website. Keep your application number and password ready before logging in.

Step 2: Choose the option “View score card” or “View JEE Main 2026 result.”
Step 3: Enter your application number and password.
Step 4: Your complete NTA JEE Main result will appear on the screen, displaying your scores.
Step 5: Remember to print out and save the JEE result page for future reference.
