
National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 results for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) on 6 February 2026. The exam was held in computer-based mode from 21 to 28 January 2026 across India and in 15 international cities. Over 13 lakh students appeared for the engineering entrance test, and a handful of students have achieved a perfect score of 100 percentile.

This year, 12 students achieved the highest NTA score of 100 percentile in JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Paper 1. Scoring a 100 percentile indicates that these students performed better than or equal to all other candidates who appeared in the session.
The exam recorded strong participation, with 13,04,653 candidates appearing out of 13,55,293 registered, resulting in an attendance percentage of 96.26%. Paper 1 was conducted in 13 languages and across 15 cities outside India including Dubai, Doha, Singapore, Washington, and Abu Dhabi.
These top scorers now stand among the elite candidates eligible for admission to top engineering institutes and for the upcoming JEE Advanced 2026.
