The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is set to announce the KCET Result 2026 on its official portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Over 3.3 lakh candidates who appeared for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGCET) 2026 will be able to download their scorecards using their application number and the first four characters of their name.
The pen-and-paper-based KCET exams were held on April 22, 23, and 24, 2026, covering Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and the Kannada language test. This guide covers everything — from how to download the KCET 2026 result to what happens next in counselling and admissions.
The Karnataka Examinations Authority recently announced that the KCET 2026 results will be declared on or after June 1. The delay is due to the rescheduling of the Agriculture and Veterinary Practical Examination at the University of Agricultural Sciences' Hiriyur centre.
The agriculture practical exam was scheduled for June 1, and the CET results will be announced only after the university submits the marks of candidates who appeared for the test. Around 24,250 candidates had registered for the agriculture practical examination.
As per earlier notifications, results were supposed to be out during the last week of May 2026, but KEA officially clarified that the KCET Results 2026 will be declared during the first week of June 2026.
KEA also asked UGCET 2026 candidates from CBSE, CISCE, and other non-Karnataka boards to enable DigiLocker access through the official KEA portal so that Class 12 marks can be fetched automatically for merit list preparation.
Note: All dates marked "Expected" below are based on KEA's past trends and are not yet officially confirmed. Always verify at kea.kar.nic.in.

karresults.nic.in — Karnataka government results portal
kea.kar.nic.in — KEA main website
Once KEA activates the result link, follow these steps:
Visit the official KEA website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/ or karresults.nic.in.
Click on the "UGCET Result 2026" or "KCET Result 2026" link on the homepage.
A new login window will open. Enter your Application Number and the first four characters of your name exactly as registered.
Click the "Submit" button.
Your KCET 2026 scorecard will appear on the screen with subject-wise marks, total score, and rank.
If prompted, enter or verify your Class 12 / 2nd PUC marks (required for non-Karnataka board candidates via DigiLocker).
Download the scorecard as a PDF and take at least two printouts. It is a mandatory document throughout the admission process.
The KCET 2026 scorecard will contain the following information:
Candidate's name and application number
Subject-wise scores (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology)
Total marks obtained
KCET rank (based on 50:50 composite formula)
Category rank (General, SC, ST, OBC, etc.)
Qualifying status for counselling
How is KCET Rank Calculated?
The authority will calculate the KCET 2026 rank based on marks obtained by candidates in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects in KCET 2026 and Class 12, using a 50:50 composite score formula. There is no negative marking in KCET 2026.
Check results only on official KEA government websites — cetonline.karnataka.gov.in or karresults.nic.in. Never trust third-party sites.
Keep your Application Number and registration details ready before attempting to download the result.
CBSE / CISCE / non-Karnataka board students must ensure DigiLocker access is enabled on the KEA portal for Class 12 mark verification.
If candidates notice any mistakes in their KCET 2026 results, they can raise objections. Candidates must submit their objections within three days of the result announcement.
KCET uses a rank-based system rather than a pass/fail threshold. All candidates who appeared receive a rank based on the 50:50 weightage of KCET and Class 12 marks.
Download and save your scorecard immediately — results are available only in online mode.
The KCET Rank List 2026 will be released as a PDF alongside the result on the official website.
The result is just the beginning. Here is what comes next:
Document Verification (Expected June 2026) Qualified candidates must appear offline at their allotted KEA centre for document verification. Original certificates will be checked.
KEA Option Entry (Expected July 2026) Candidates fill in their preferred colleges and branches online via the KEA portal. Option entry is expected around July 8–29, 2026, followed by seat allotment in multiple rounds.

Seat Allotment Rounds Seats are allotted across Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Veterinary, and other programmes based on rank and preference. Multiple rounds are conducted for unfilled seats and upgrades.
KCET Cut-off Karnataka Examination Authority will release the KCET 2026 cutoff after the declaration of seat allotment results. The cut-off will be released separately for all counselling rounds
