Medical Education Minister and KEA Chairman Dr Sharan Prakash Patil announced the Karnataka UGCET 2026 results at a press conference held at 12 noon on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Along with the result, the KCET 2026 Merit List, toppers' names, scores, and ranks have also been published.

The KEA KCET result 2026 link has been activated at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/. This year, over 3.3 lakh candidates appeared for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGCET) 2026
A total of 3,30,479 candidates participated in the exam, consisting of 1,86,099 female students and 1,44,380 male students. The test was conducted across 745 centres in the state of Karnataka
KCET 2026 was conducted on April 23 and 24, 2026, in two shifts — morning (10:30 AM–11:50 AM) and afternoon (2:30 PM–3:50 PM). The Agriculture re-exam at the Hiriyur centre was successfully conducted on June 1, 2026, and those marks have been integrated into the final result.

The final ranks of candidates are determined based on a 50:50 weightage between KCET scores and Class 12 (II PUC) board marks. This formula applies to Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture, and Allied streams.
50% weight → KCET entrance test score
50% weight → Class 12 / II PUC aggregate marks in core subjects (PCM or PCB)
This combined merit index determines your final rank and seat allotment priority during counselling.
As per the passing criteria, general category candidates need to score 45%, while Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category candidates need to score 40% to qualify KCET 2026 and participate in the counselling process

The KCET results are available only in online mode. Rank sheets must be downloaded via the online dashboard — no physical mailers or emails will be sent to candidates' postal addresses.
KEA allows a brief three-day window post-declaration to challenge discrepancies in your scorecard. If you notice any error in your name, category, or marks, report it to KEA immediately.
