  • Subject-wise CET marks (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology)

  • Qualifying examination (II PUC / Class 12) marks

  • Overall rank and qualifying status

  • Category details

How is the KCET 2026 Rank Calculated?

The final ranks of candidates are determined based on a 50:50 weightage between KCET scores and Class 12 (II PUC) board marks. This formula applies to Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture, and Allied streams.

  • 50% weight → KCET entrance test score

  • 50% weight → Class 12 / II PUC aggregate marks in core subjects (PCM or PCB)

This combined merit index determines your final rank and seat allotment priority during counselling.

KCET 2026 Qualifying Marks – Category-Wise

As per the passing criteria, general category candidates need to score 45%, while Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category candidates need to score 40% to qualify KCET 2026 and participate in the counselling process

What Happens Next? – KCET 2026 Counselling Process

Students who clear the KCET exam 2026 will be eligible to participate in the KCET counselling process. Seat allocation will be based on KCET ranks, preferences submitted by candidates, and the availability of seats

The counselling process includes option entry and Round 1 seat allotment, and typically concludes between September and Octobe

Online registration and document verification are expected to begin in mid-June 2026. The official counselling schedule has not yet been announced by KEA — candidates should check the official website regularly for updates
