1. Revise Elementary Mathematics

Candidates should practise number systems, percentages, profit and loss, simple and compound interest, ratios and proportions, time and work, and mensuration. Regular practice can improve calculation speed and accuracy.

Focus on number and letter series, coding-decoding, analogies, blood relations, direction-based questions and logical puzzles. Solving questions under timed conditions can help candidates manage the examination duration effectively.

3. Strengthen General Awareness and General Knowledge

Revise Indian history, geography, polity, general science and current affairs. Candidates should also pay attention to important facts about West Bengal, including its geography, history and government-related developments.

4. Revise English Grammar

Prepare topics such as synonyms, antonyms, fill-in-the-blanks, sentence correction and basic grammar. Candidates should practise objective questions to improve accuracy.

5. Solve Mock Tests and Previous Papers

Practising previous question papers and mock tests can help candidates understand the question format and identify topics that require additional revision. Timed practice is particularly useful for improving speed.

Candidates seeking structured preparation resources can explore the WBP/KP Constable and SI Revision and Practice Batch.

6. Avoid Blind Guesswork
