MP Board 10th Regular Exam 2026: Context and Background

The Class 10 MP Board results 2026 were declared on April 15, 2026. The MPBSE High School Certificate exams were held from February 13 to March 6, 2026

The MP Board Class 10 results 2026 recorded strong performance, with 378 students making it to the merit list, including 235 girls and 143 boys. Pratibha Singh Solanki from Panna emerged as the topper by scoring 499 marks. Girls outperformed boys in the examination.

Students who couldn't clear or wanted to improve their scores in the main exam were given the second exam opportunity in May.

MP Board Second Main Exam? (For Parents and Students)

The MP Board has replaced the supplementary exam with a "Second Main Examination." This allows students to clear failed subjects or improve their scores without the "supplementary" label on their final marksheet.

This is a significant student-friendly change — the second exam result appears on the final marksheet just like a regular exam, removing stigma associated with the older "supplementary" tag.

What to Do If You Still Fail? — Ruk Jana Nahi Scheme

Students who are not satisfied with their second exam result or have failed again should know about the Ruk Jana Nahi (RJN) scheme:

  • Students who failed in the main exam and did not appear in the second main exam can register for the Ruk Jana Nahi scheme. The exam is typically held in June and December.
  • Registration is done on the MP Online portal (mponiline.gov.in)
  • This scheme gives one more formal opportunity to pass board exams and save the academic year
