NEET PG 2026 Answer Key Release Date October 1, Check Download Steps & Response Sheet

The NEET PG 2026 Answer Key is awaited by candidates who appeared for the postgraduate medical entrance examination.

The answer key is expected to be made available through the official NBEMS NEET PG portal. Along with the provisional key, candidates are expected to get access to their question-wise responses through their login credentials.

As per the latest result notification, candidates can view the question IDs, correct answer IDs, recorded response IDs, and question-wise marks from October 1, 2026 onwards.

The answer-key process is particularly important for NEET PG 2026 candidates as NBEMS is following a transparency-focused process for the examination. A similar approach was followed for NEET PG 2025, when the answer key and candidates' recorded responses were announced to be made available.

The NEET PG 2026 answer key is expected to be accessible from October 1, 2026 onwards through the NBEMS system. Candidates will be able to view their individual response details by logging into their respective accounts.

NEET PG 2026 Answer Key and Response Sheet

The NEET PG 2026 response sheet is expected to be available along with the provisional answer key. The candidate-specific response information will allow applicants to compare their recorded answers with the answers provided in the official key.

This will also help candidates make a tentative calculation of their probable score before the declaration of the result.

The response details are expected to be accessible after candidates log in to the official NBEMS NEET PG portal.

What Candidates Should Check in NEET PG 2026 Answer Key

After downloading the answer key and response sheet, candidates should verify:

• Question ID and corresponding answer

• Recorded response

• Total correct responses

• Total incorrect responses

• Unanswered questions

• Applicable marking scheme

• Any correction or revised answer key issued officially

• Instructions released by NBEMS

Candidates should also save the answer key and response sheet for reference.

NEET PG Scorecard 2026

The NEET PG 2026 Scorecard is also scheduled to be released on October 1, 2026 through the NBEMS system. Candidates will be able to access their scorecard using their individual login credentials.

Candidates can use the question-wise information to review their responses and marks. However, the marks already reported by NBEMS in the result should be treated as the official result for the examination.

The earlier PW coverage explained the NEET PG marking framework of 4 marks for a correct answer, 1 mark deducted for an incorrect answer and no marks for an unattempted question. Candidates can refer to that calculation framework while reviewing their responses.

The upcoming answer-key release is therefore more useful for question-wise verification and performance review than for waiting to calculate a result that has already been declared.
