The NEET PG 2026 re-exam has been scheduled because 2,445 candidates at two Jaipur centres could not complete the original examination.
According to NBEMS, an internal power supply problem at the two Sitapura centres affected the conduct of the test. The board attributed the issue to M/s TCS Ltd., the agency responsible for conducting the examination.
NBEMS said the separate examination is intended to provide the affected candidates with an equitable opportunity to complete the postgraduate medical entrance examination.
The re-examination is not for all NEET PG candidates.
Only the 2,445 candidates affected by the technical disruption at the two Sitapura examination centres in Jaipur are scheduled to appear for the re-examination.
Candidates who successfully completed the NEET PG 2026 examination on August 30 do not need to appear for this re-examination unless specifically instructed by NBEMS.
The affected candidates appeared at:
iON Digital Zone iDZ Sitapura, Jaipur
The affected centre numbers are:

41683
Candidates should rely on their official re-examination admit card or NBEMS notification for the final centre address and reporting instructions.

The original NEET PG 2026 examination was conducted on August 30, 2026, across the country.
NBEMS had scheduled the examination for 2,73,096 candidates at 1,111 examination centres across 339 cities covering all 36 States and Union Territories.
Of these, 2,65,980 candidates appeared for the examination. The examination was successfully completed for approximately 2,63,535 candidates, while 2,445 candidates at the two Jaipur centres could not complete the test.
NBEMS said the examination was conducted with extensive monitoring and security arrangements.
The board deployed:
2,527 Independent Appraisers
More than 700 senior faculty members as Flying Squad members
16 Regional Command Centres
NBEMS and TCS personnel for real-time monitoring
Examination centres were also placed under live CCTV surveillance, with feeds monitored from the NBEMS Command Centre at its headquarters in Dwarka.
According to NBEMS, Aadhaar-based candidate authentication was also conducted at examination centres as part of the security measures.
Candidates affected by the Jaipur technical issue should focus on the September 5 examination rather than relying on information from unofficial sources.
They should:

Check the official NBEMS website regularly.
Download the re-exam admit card when available.
Verify the centre and reporting details.
