The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NEET (UG) 2026 application fee details along with the registration schedule. Every candidate must pay the prescribed fee to successfully submit the application form. The fee varies based on the candidate’s category and whether the exam centre is within India or outside India. Knowing the exact fee, deadlines, and payment rules in advance can help you avoid last-minute errors and application rejection.
The registration fee for NEET UG 2026 is determined by the candidate’s category and exam centre location:
General: ₹1,700 (India) | ₹9,500 (Outside India)
General-EWS / OBC-NCL: ₹1,600 (India) | ₹9,500 (Outside India)
SC / ST / PwBD / Third Gender: ₹1,000 (India) | ₹9,500 (Outside India)
Note for OBC-NCL candidates: OBC-NCL refers only to the Central List of Other Backwards Classes. Candidates must verify their status on the National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) website before selecting this category, as incorrect category selection can lead to application cancellation.

Online Application Window: 08 February 2026 to 08 March 2026 (up to 09:00 PM)
Last Date for Fee Payment: 08 March 2026 (up to 11:50 PM)
