NIFT Registration 2027 has officially started for candidates seeking admission to various programmes offered by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). The National Testing Agency (NTA) commenced the online application process on October 16, 2026. Eligible candidates can submit their forms for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes through the official application portal.

Candidates can complete their NIFT Registration 2027 online by following the steps below.

1. Visit the official NIFT entrance examination portal at https://exams.nta.nic.in/niftee/.

2. Find the NIFT 2027 application link for the relevant programme.

3. Complete the registration process and enter the requested details.

4. Fill in the application form with the required personal and academic information.

5. Upload the photograph, signature and other applicable documents in the prescribed format.

6. Pay the application fee according to the selected programme and category.

7. Review the entered details and submit the application form.

8. Keep a copy of the submitted form and payment confirmation for future reference.

The application fee varies according to the candidate's category and the number of programmes selected. Applicants should check the applicable fee before submitting their forms.

The single-programme fee applies to courses including B.Des, B.F.Tech, M.Des, M.F.M, M.F.Tech and Ph.D. The two-programme fee applies to combinations such as B.F.Tech with B.Des or M.F.M with M.Des.

Candidates applying with a late fee must also account for the additional charge of ₹5,000 after the regular application deadline.

The NIFT entrance examination uses different modes for the General Ability Test (GAT) and the Creative Ability Test (CAT). The first stage includes these tests, while the second stage includes the Situation Test and Personal Interview (PI), as applicable.
