Re-NEET 2026 Answer Key: Candidates who appeared for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination are eagerly waiting for the release of the provisional answer key. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has not yet announced an official date for publishing the answer key and response sheets.
The re-examination was conducted on June 21 after the original NEET UG 2026 examination was cancelled due to the paper leak controversy.
The delay in the release of the Re-NEET answer key has become a major talking point among candidates, especially because the original NEET UG 2026 examination saw one of the quickest answer key releases in recent years.
The original NEET UG exam was held on May 3, and NTA released the provisional answer key, recorded responses, and OMR sheets on May 6, merely three days after the examination.
This timeline has led many candidates to expect that the Re-NEET 2026 provisional answer key could also be released shortly.
Although NTA had published the provisional answer key for the original NEET UG 2026 examination, it is no longer relevant for admissions because the examination itself was subsequently cancelled.
As a result, candidates who appeared in the June 21 re-examination will receive a fresh provisional answer key and response sheets specifically for the re-test.
Once the provisional answer key is issued, candidates are expected to receive access to:
Provisional answer key
Recorded responses
Scanned OMR answer sheets
Objection submission facility
Candidates will also be allowed to challenge any answer they believe is incorrect by paying the prescribed fee within the objection window announced by NTA.
After release, candidates can access the answer key by visiting the official NEET website and logging in using their application credentials.
Candidates are advised to regularly monitor the official portal and rely only on notifications issued by NTA regarding the answer key and result process.
