Re-NEET OMR Sheet 2026: What NTA Said

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an important clarification regarding the release of the Re-NEET OMR Sheet 2026, bringing relief and clarity to lakhs of medical aspirants awaiting their response sheets after the re-examination.

Many candidates were expecting the release of their individual OMR sheets along with other examination updates. However, NTA has clarified that the scanned OMR response sheets are currently not available as the scanning process is still underway.

Re-NEET OMR Sheet 2026 Update

In its latest communication, NTA stated:

"The individual scanned OMR response sheets are not part of this stage, as OMR scanning is still in progress. Candidates will be given a separate opportunity to view their individual scanned OMR response sheets once scanning has been completed."

This means that candidates will have to wait a little longer to access their individual answer sheets.

Why Has Re-NEET OMR Sheet Not Been Released Yet?

According to the National Testing Agency, the scanning and digitisation of OMR answer sheets are still being completed. Since the process involves lakhs of answer sheets from candidates across India and overseas centres, additional time is required to ensure accuracy before making the response sheets available online.

The agency has assured candidates that a separate window will be provided once the scanning process is completed.

Will Candidates Get a Chance to Check Their OMR Sheets?

Yes. NTA has clearly stated that candidates will be allowed to view their scanned OMR response sheets at a later stage.

Once released, candidates are expected to be able to:

• Download their individual OMR sheets.

• Verify the answers marked during the examination.

• Compare their responses with the official answer key.

• Estimate their probable scores before the declaration of results.

The exact dates for releasing the OMR sheets have not been announced yet.

Re-NEET OMR Sheet 2026 Expected Release Date

Although NTA has not officially confirmed the release date, the OMR sheets are expected to be uploaded after the completion of the scanning process and before or around the result declaration process.
