The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the UGC NET June 2026 registration deadline, giving candidates additional time to complete the application process online. Aspirants can now apply for the UGC NET June 2026 exam till May 23, 2026, through the official website — National Testing Agency at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Earlier, the last date to submit the UGC NET application form was May 20, 2026. Along with the registration extension, NTA has also revised the fee payment deadline and application correction dates.

As per the official notification, candidates can now complete the UGC NET June 2026 online registration process till May 23, 2026, up to 10 AM. The application fee payment facility will remain available till 11:50 PM on the same day.

The agency extended the registration deadline after receiving multiple requests from students who needed more time to complete their applications.

Candidates planning to appear for the UGC NET June 2026 examination are advised to complete the form submission process well before the last date to avoid technical issues at the final moment.
