Visit the Official Portal: Go to uppsc.up.nic.in.
Find the Admit Card Link: On the homepage, look for the "Activity Dashboard" or the "Download Admit Card" section.
Authentication: Click on the link for "Admit Card for Assistant Prosecution Officer (Mains) Exam 2026".
Enter Credentials: Provide your OTR Number, Date of Birth, Gender, and the Verification Code (Captcha).
Submit & Download: Verify your details and click 'Submit'. Your admit card will appear on the screen.
Print: Save the PDF and take a clear color printout. You will need this for all three days of the Mains exam.
Once you have the PDF, ensure there are no discrepancies in the following fields:
Candidate Name & Roll Number
Photograph & Signature (Should be clear and visible)
Exam Center Address: Check the specific venue in cities like Prayagraj or Lucknow.
Paper Schedule: Verify the timings for Law, Hindi, and General Studies papers.
Note: If you find an error in your name or category, contact the UPPSC helpdesk immediately at online.uppsc@nic.in or use the official helpline numbers provided on the portal.
To ensure a smooth experience at the examination center, candidates must adhere to the following protocols:
Mandatory Documents: Carry the printed Admit Card and an original Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or PAN Card) along with two passport-size photographs.
Reporting Time: For the morning shifts, entry usually begins at 7:30 AM. Gates often close 45 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
Prohibited Items: Electronic gadgets, calculators, smartwatches, and log tables are strictly banned.
Offline Mode: Since this is a descriptive exam, ensure you carry high-quality black/blue ballpoint pens.
With the exam starting on June 28, focus on answer-writing practice for the Criminal Law and Evidence Act papers. Ensure your command over the UP Police Act & Regulations is sharp, as this often acts as a tie-breaker in the final merit list.
