UP Super TET 2026 notification has been released for 12,405 Assistant Teacher vacancies. The application process starts on September 16, 2026, while the written examination is scheduled for December 3 and 4, 2026.

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has announced the UP Super TET 2026  recruitment for 12,405 Primary Teacher (PRT) vacancies. The registration process has started from September 16, 2026, and eligible candidates can apply through the official website, upessc.up.gov.in . UP Super TET 2026 Vacancy

A total of 12,405 Primary Teacher (PRT) posts are available under the recruitment drive. The UP Super TET Recruitment is for direct appointment to the vacant posts of Assistant Teachers in primary schools.

UP Super TET 2026 Eligibility

Candidates must meet the required educational qualifications specified for the respective Assistant Teacher post before submitting their application.  

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the Assistant Teacher posts must have a recognised graduation degree along with the prescribed teacher-training qualification such as BTC/D.El.Ed or any other qualification specified in the notification.

They must also have qualified the TET for Classes 1 to 5, conducted by the Government of Uttar Pradesh or Government of India.

For the Attached Primary Assistant Teacher post, BTC/B.T.C. or NCTE-recognised D.El.Ed is required, as applicable. The notification states that BTC is currently conducted as D.El.Ed.

Age Limit

The UP Super TET 2026 age limit varies by post, with applicable age relaxation provided to eligible categories as per the prescribed rules. 

UP Super TET 2026 Selection Process

The UP Super TET 2026 selection process will begin with the written examination. The merit list for the advertised Assistant Teacher posts will be prepared based on candidates’ scores in the 360-mark written exam, subject to the applicable rules and eligibility criteria.

Candidates shortlisted after the written exam will be called for document verification. Details regarding the date, time and venue will be communicated through SMS, email, newspapers and the official website.
